I first met Chris after a year of being unable to sell my home through another real estate agency, and an attempt to sell it on my own. We first met Chris Grant when we saw a house that he had listed and were very interested in viewing the home. Our family was thinking of building a similar home and we wanted to see the layout of the house. After contacting Chris he immediately offered to show us the house even though he knew that we were not going to buy the house. He spent time with us viewing the home and talking about the real estate market. It was very impressive that an owner would take time out of his busy schedule knowing that he may never gain us as clients.
About six months after meeting Chris Grant we decided to sell our home. We called a few different real estate agents to come over and us a market evaluation but out of all of the agents we met Chris definitely had the best plan to help us achieve our goals. Chris listed our home for sale while marketing and networking our home using many different real estate sources that other agents never even mentioned. The photos he took and the website he created for us were absolutely beautiful. We immediately received over 25 requests to show our home and within 42 days our home was under deposit. Unfortunately, when the buyers had our home appraised the appraisal value came in lower than the selling price. If that wasn't bad enough we were then informed that the inspection revealed septic and radon issues. This was a very stressful time for our family and we really thought that this would be the end of the sale. This did not stop Chris Grant from selling our home. Through his expert negotiating ability and his persistence we were able to sell our home for a price several thousand dollars above the appraised value and we were not required to fix any of the home issues. We have had many other agents tell us that this situation is almost unheard of in this real estate market today. Some may think it was luck but we know that having an experienced agent was key in completing a successful sale in such a difficult situation.
We are very grateful to have met Chris Grant (and his family) and we are now working with him to find the perfect home to purchase. His positive attitude and his drive to satisfy his clients are just a couple of the reasons why we will always call Chris Grant for all of our real estate needs.
