Expected Closing Costs

Closing costs will vary from closing to closing but typically include costs for title insurance, brokers commission, taxes &  miscellaneous fees. Title insurance costs will depend on what the home was sold for. In addition, there are several taxes you will have to pay for the privilege of selling your home including local property transfer tax, county transfer tax, state transfer tax, and state capital gains tax.  If you are an FHA buyer or seller FHA now allows negotiation of  FHA fees and costs.  In some circumstances home inspection fees are paid for by the seller and include pest, radon, and other inspections.  Miscellaneous costs are fees that can accrue from correcting the problems noticed during the home inspection.
